EWA - European Welding Association

The European Welding Association is a trade association, which joins together manufacturers of welding equipment and welding consumables from across Europe and associations from the welding industry.

Duties and Objectives:

The association has made it its duty to protect and promote the mutual economic and technical interests of the European welding industry and foster the industry's competitive position on the global market.
EWA gathers and analyzes statistical, industry-specific economic data and sales figures and provides them exclusively to its members.

Foundation:

EWA was founded in 1987, and its official headquarters are located in Paris.
Its predecessor was the Association of European Manufacturers of Welding Consumables (CEFE), which was founded in 1958.
